Quickly read the quote below.
Now a second time, slowly read and count the letter F
FINISHED FILES ARE THE RESULT OF YEARS
OF SCIENTIFIC STUDY COMBINED WITH THE
EXPERIENCE OF YEARS.
If you spotted four you're normal. Our brain considers the "OF" phonetically as "OV" and the activated ACC + DLPFC write them off. There's actually seven F's - try counting carefully.
Read this familiar nursery rhyme out-loud:

Did you skip the extra 'a'? If you caught it then you might be in a state of 'FOCUS' - that is - concentrating with attention to detail.
Focus = Fire!
One spring morning, in the Pacific Northwest, I was chatting with a client and her husband as breakfast was being prepared for us by the maid.
We were sitting outdoors in a beautiful garden patio, celebrating the end of a sixteen month long home remodel my crew had finished. The sun was shining brightly. We had caps and sunglasses on, and it was warming up quickly. I recall taking my sweater off as we admired the sailboats on the Bay far below the bluff-top palace.
The white table cloth had been set with fine china and champagne in crystal glasses. We were just remarking about how "fragrant the pink cherry blossoms were" when we all caught a whiff of smoke.
The trouble was, none of us could see smoke. As the familiar smell increased we looked around in puzzlement. Then, I noticed the most peculiar thing on the table; a slowly expanding, plate sized ring of umber and silver - which burst into flame and moved quickly away from one of the champagne glasses, threatening to burn us all!
The sun had focused through the goblet on the table cloth with just enough energy to create a surprising outcome - and a life-long memory.
That's the power of a little focus!
