It’s not WHAT – it’s WHO you know!
My daughter Carissa has been a snowboard pro sponsored by Roxie, Smith, Burton, Screamer, etc. etc. I was honored with the echo of wisdom from her one day. “Dad; you are right. It IS who you know!”
She inspired her older brother David to go into kiteboarding. He’s learned the same principle. He was an accomplished glass artist, got a chance to work in Hawaii, and then began working with Naish in Maui. What an adventurous pair they’ve been!
Building your personal and professional network is critical to success in life and business.
Networking is an enrichment program, not an entitlement program. It should be done with respect for people and with their benefit in mind | Most of the business organizations we’ve been members in ‘sold’ us on the benefit of building our ‘network’ The trouble was that those we met were more interested in making us a client or customer, than about solving a problem WE cared to address. We started MOMtrepreneurs out of the observation, and confirmation from others that a network of considerate fellows is a priceless asset. It’s with this same commitment that we’re building the Enterprising Couples tribe.
